The day after the French debate that was not a debate, the Premier of Quebec officially declares that he wants a minority Conservative government!
The leaders' debate in French (Wednesday, September 8, 2021) was not a real debate but more of a "cocktail" - according to TVA journalist Emmanuelle Latraverse. I agree with her!
If there was a winner, it was Yves-François Blanchette who declared himself the only voice representing Quebec. The others have an agenda to be elected Prime Minister and without really saying why they are the best...
Interestingly, the argument between Yves-François Blanchet and Justin Trudeau on the Quebec identity is word for word like the quarrel that Pierre E. Trudeau had with Pierre Bourgault...
