Traditionally, Catholic church bells are rung every day of the year to invite the faithful to attend mass. Except at Easter time when they are silent from Holy Thursday to Holy Saturday. The "bells" would take advantage of this to go to Rome to be blessed and bring back eggs of all kinds to the good children! During the return trip, the bells would lose the "chocolate" eggs to the great joy of the children who, as soon as noon has passed, go on an egg hunt!
