A friend from Nuns' Island, Gaspard Fauteux, is organizing a fundraising event for the foundation of his ancestor RAOUL BARRÉ (1874-1932). Gaspard created this foundation to highlight the work of his grandfather who was a pioneer in the field of cartoons and comic strips in newspapers in both the United States and Canada.
Raoul Barré's work and the details of the fundraising event are available on the website. The event will be held at 7pm on Wednesday May 3rd at the Cinémathèque québécoise at 335 de Maisonneuve East in Montreal.
