MAPLE SYRUP TIME-

With the spring of 2023 approaching, it will soon be the maple syrup time, a tradition from Quebec.
Ulysse is convinced that we could make syrup with the old maple tree in the garden and he claims that the kitchen fireplace would be perfect to cook the syrup...
I congratulated him for his initiative, but I think we will buy a liter of syrup at the grocery store instead...
The sugar season is a period of 4 to 6 weeks from mid-March to the end of April which corresponds to the start of the maple groves. Quebec maple syrup is world famous and even Pope Francis loves to have some on his table at the Vatican...
