THE PLACE VILLE-MARIE RING IS ILLUMINATED -

The whole of Montreal was gathered on Wednesday evening, September 14, 2022, for the illumination of the Place Ville-Marie ring in Montreal. The show resembled a kind of fireworks, but without the noise of explosion, and a good thousand people were on site. The angels flying around the stage were spectacular! 

Ulysse and I enjoyed the evening, although it was a little too cool, but as we hate crowds, we had installed ourselves at a distance from the ring and especially sheltered from the wind... 

It's a beautiful ring, but at $5 million it's too expensive! At most, Ulysse and I would have paid 1 million maximum, if we had been in charge of the project. In fact, we gave the nickname to this giant ring "Lord of the Rings" because of its financial scope! 

Note that Place Ville-Marie celebrated its 60th anniversary last night, having been inaugurated on September 14, 1962.
