The second debate of the Quebec 2022 election campaign will take place tonight, Thursday, September 22, starting at 8 p.m. on Radio-Canada. The incumbent champion, François Legault, is ready for the fight!
On the other hand, the leader of the Liberal Party of Quebec, Dominique Anglade, will be able to appear at the debate on Thursday on Radio-Canada with good news because the judge has cancelled the decision of the director of elections to disqualify the candidate of Matane-Matapédia. The candidate will be able to run on October 3rd and the Liberal Party will have 125 candidates in the race like all the other parties. This is a victory for the Liberal Party, but more importantly for the right to run for office. According to the judge, it is unfair to prevent a citizen from running just because he or she has omitted an initial on a long form that already includes the oath and all the essential signatures.
