THE DEPARTURE OF A FRIEND...

I have very few friends, because of my solitary nature... 

I was very fond of my next-door neighbor, who was about 90 years old! 

He died last night, Friday, September 23, the first evening of the fall of 2022! 

In fact, he and his wife represented, in my mind, the beauty and the human goodness... 

I loved to see them walking in the Old Port. One summer evening, in July 2019, without telling, I had photographed them with my iPhone, as I passed behind them and they were sitting on a bench in the Old Port. 

I never dared to send them the pictures because I thought they were too intimate of their souls!
