What is the relationship between former American political candidate and wealthy investor MICHAEL BLOOMBERG, CHARLES DUTOIT, CONRAD BLACK and MONTREAL?
Answer: A woman, MARIE JOSÉE DROUIN, and a house.
Indeed, Michael Bloomberg has just bought the American ranch of the couple Marie-Josée Drouin Kravis and Henry Kravis for $44.79 million!
Marie Josée is a native of Ottawa but was formerly a financial columnist for La Presse and The Gazette. She was also very much involved in business in Canada, notably as a member of the board of directors of Hollinger, owned by Montreal native Conrad Black. On a personal level, Marie Josée was the wife of Maestro Charles Dutoit in 1982, from whom she divorced, and later in 1994 married wealthy American financier Henry Kravis.
We can therefore conclude that the former Democratic candidate for the U.S. presidential race is connected, indirectly to Montreal, by a house!
