According to experts, within a few years at most, our society will be overrun by robots...
If artificial intelligence is the brain (the software), the robot is the body (the machine). AI enables the robot to perceive its environment, make decisions, and learn from its mistakes, while the robot allows AI to physically interact with the real world. Unlike older robots that simply repeated the same task, robots with AI can recognize objects; understand human language and facial expressions, and move autonomously in various environments. A robot is capable of analyzing thousands of information sources in real time to extract new perspectives.
A modern robot becomes a synthetic “friend” with whom we can test our boldest theories or share our thoughts on various topics. The robot offers unique advantages: total availability, a lack of judgment, and an infallible memory. One can also imagine the great pleasure of competing at the gym with a robot friend...
