The 1984 Conservative team was like champion athletes who had won the championship with Brian as coach and Mila as assistant. Brian's team won 211 of 282 seats (74.8%). An all-time record. There had been no polarization in the vote...
Unfortunately, nothing lasts, and today in 2024, those moments have become memories. Everything moves too fast, and time only stands still for a very short moment. Time is like a cloud, an illusion impossible to grasp... But as Mila Mulroney said to me recently, "We lived through that time together, and we were one big family... "It was a beautiful time, the most beautiful for me!
I weep to think that the adventure is over and that it was 40 years ago, but we have to live with the living and those who remain, otherwise we die too.
