Erin O'Toole received a gift from the debate organizers who did not invite Maxime Bernier.
The former Conservative Party leadership candidate would have been a difficult obstacle for O'Toole during the debates.
The Conservative horse is still ahead in the September 20 horse race against Justin Trudeau.
