In another life, I knew Gilbert Rozon well, as did anyone who worked in Montreal in a large company, because Rozon was the ultimate sponsorship salesman with his comedy events and galas.
I also knew some of the women who are suing him for sexual assault.
My personal perception of this whole saga is that life in society is ultimately an action of offering, selling and buying.
Gilbert is in his soul like a used car salesman and those who accuse him of assault, people who believed that approaching Rozon represented a bargain either in terms of a job, social status, or love; whereas Rozon was offering nothing more than a passing sexuality with no tomorrow.
The used car bargain is a myth and usually the nice car is not what you think and nothing is ever free!
Society in the years before October 2017 (Harvey Weinstein) relied heavily on this concept of the car for sale.
Thankfully times have changed and it is now a different era, but one should never forget caution and always stay far, far away from used car salesmen...
