OSCARS 2017... A REAL FAKE NEWS

OSCARS 2017... A REAL FAKE NEWS
By Bernard Bujold -
While the animators have made fun of Donald Trump during the whole evening at the Oscar 2017 Gala, the famous Gala ended in a failure that will pass to history for his announcement of bad winning movies...
Donald Trump is now the one who laugh and several public observers say with mockery to the organizers of the Oscars: "Fake news, Fake news ..."
An Oscars Gala that will be talked about over the whole next year for the most amateur of all the galas, as the animators had to announce on stage and live in front of millions of viewers that they announced the wrong name of the winner for the best picture of the 2017 Academy Awards, this while the film production team that believed to have won thanked the audience warmly!
An error that obviously made the headline of Monday morning February 27 in all the media of the world...
And me who wanted to buy a guitar and dreamed of being invited to perform at the Oscars in 2018!
A joke, a joke! (Fake News, Fake News ...)

DANIELLE OUIMET - MY FRIENDS, MY LOVES,

DANIELLE OUIMET - MY FRIENDS, MY LOVES ...
By Bernard Bujold - The actress and television host Danielle Ouimet has just published a new book about the men she loved during her life.
The book in french "MES AMIS, MES AMOURS - Ce que les hommes m'ont appris (MY FRIENDS, MY LOVES - What Men Taught Me)" is not anecdotal but oriented towards the human and sentimental side of her love relationships.
According to Danielle, love is the only value that counts in a life and today, at the age of almost 70, she considers that the most soothing memories of her life have been those experienced with the men she loved and with whom for many she developed a deep and true friendship even after the end of the love relationship.
The chapter on Pierre Péladeau is particularly interesting and, as I well knew Pierre, I can confirm that Danielle's description of the personality of the founder of Quebecor is perfectly true. This look is all the more interesting because it comes from a woman who was his friend and whom he respected very deeply.
A book to read for those who want to better understand the human values of life.

DONALD TRUMP: MAD OR IMPETUS?

DONALD TRUMP: MAD OR IMPETUS?
By Bernard Bujold -
The question of the moment among several political observers concerns the temperament of Donald Trump! Is he crazy, or just out of the ordinary?
Personally, I consider him "impetuous"! Impetuosity is usually peculiar to youth, for with age comes wisdom and calm.
I was exactly discussing this at a recent dinner where I explained that Donald Trump kept the impetuosity of a 30-year-old boy when he is 70. It's very rare to have as much energy and above all motivation to launch extraordinary challenges at an age of wisdom....
Donald would have had much more fun staying in New York or Florida. Some want to see Rome and die ... but he wanted to become President before he died!
I also explained, at my supper, that all men (or women) who perform great things are all a little abnormal. From a Steve Job (I read 5 biographies about him) to a Donald Trump or, here in Quebec, to the biggest achievers: all are a bit abnormal (some would say crazy). I will not name any Quebecker so as not to insult anyone that I know...
Conclusion: Donald Trump is perhaps a bit crazy but from this madness of achievers who accomplish great things and change the world! Donald Trump gives me all the clues of who will be one of the greatest politicians of history!

THE END OF NIKON?
By Bernard Bujold-
Nikon is in serious financial turmoil!
The company will be licensing 1000 employees and get out completely of the compact camera market to be only in the high end of the DSLR market...‬
Many observers are very pessimistic about the future of this photographic manufacturer. To be continued

JUSTIN TRUDEAU AND DONALD TRUMP

JUSTIN TRUDEAU AND DONALD TRUMP
By Bernard Bujold-
Justin Trudeau and Donald Trump understand each other and both want to work very closely together.
The official visit by Justin Trudeau in Washington (Monday February 13, 2017) could be qualified of a success. The two top politics leaders that are Donald Trump and Justin Trudeau seem very friendly to one another. For one, the two won their election over the prediction of losing by the media and the pollsters. In a way, this is a very strong link between the two as an underdog winner always love another underdog winner.
Personally, I predicted both victories almost right on the digit. I evaluated at 300 votes the victory by Trump (he won by 306) and in 2015 I predicted 180 seats for Justin ( he won by 184) Note that Brian Mulroney was the advisor to Justin Trudeau in the preparation of the official visit.

THE NEWSPAPERS IN 2017

THE FUTURE OF THE NEWSPAPERS...
By Bernard Bujold -
Since many years I was a fan of newspapers. What was I looking for in them? Discoveries, news about the world, seriousness and facts.
The Wall Street Journal was at one point in the past the best newspapers for its features stories. It was in the 80...
Today, almost all newspapers are ideas paper. Too much editorial and not enough news.
I checked the New York Times over the last month and every day one could find 5 or 6 stories regarding Donald Trump, but stories, of course, all against him... In the past the NYT was middle of the road and his Sunday magazine was one of the best.
In Canada (Quebec), we have the same situation! One look at Le Devoir and you understand that this is an opinion newspaper...
Conclusion: I have stopped my reading of newspapers and try instead to get the news by a balancing act on my computer taking in as many inputs as possible and making myself a head by diluting and mixing in the middle.
The best sources: Facebook and Instagram!
The best part of it: it is also free for the user...
