Today, Sunday, November 2, 2025, is municipal election day across Quebec. Several leaders will be elected unopposed due to a lack of candidates... For Montreal, it has been a lackluster campaign compared to previous years. All polls predict a victory for Soraya Martinez Ferrada in the mayoral race. The question to watch will be voter turnout. While in 2021 the turnout was 38.83%, some observers believe it will be below 30% in 2025...
