I love reading, and for several years I was a regular visitor to the Montreal Book Fair. I even exhibited as an author during one edition. But my last visit was in 2018! So I decided to return to the Fair for the 2025 edition, but to my surprise, the place was empty and the security guard at Place Bonaventure told me that the Fair had not been held there for several years (since 2019)... I thanked the guard, laughing at my mistake, and walked the short distance to the Palais des congrès. I loved the old exhibition space at Place Bonaventure because of the high ceilings, but hey, everything changes... That's what I take away from my adventure. Times change, and they don't wait for us to change with them...
