THE BAY - FINAL SALE

Bay's liquidation sale was a great success, and with one week to go before the stores close for good, there's almost nothing left to sell but the shelves and the nice wood tables that showcased the prestigious products of bygone days. The sight of a store without merchandise is both spectacular and dramatic, yet also frightening. It's like being in a ghost store...
The final closing date is Sunday, June 1.
NOTE: The photo of the cash register is not a montage, and I stumbled across it while walking around the store. The photo would be impossible today because the paper has since been torn... But it's indicative of accumulation and excess. Too many sales, too many debts, too much as in being overtaken by events!
