QUEBEC ELECTION - OCTOBER 2, 2023 -
The October 2, 2023 by-election (Jean-Talon) will be decisive for Quebec's political future. Either François Legault will secure his post for the decade, or Paul St-Pierre Plamondon will position himself to become the next Premier. In the last general election, Plamondon impressed most with his common sense and open-mindedness. It's also fair to say that François Legault didn't win the 2022 election, but rather that the other parties split the vote to leave Legault in the Prime Minister's chair.
