The Canadiens hockey team is being criticized in the media for drafting Logan Mailloux (Friday, July 23, 2021).
What do I think?
My observation is that Les Canadiens and its management are fully aware that they are in the private sector and they do not have to answer to the public unlike a public or governmental organization, or like an F1 Grand Prix that is heavily subsidized.
Mailloux's right to a second chance is a universal principle. Others have been less fortunate, like Maripier Morin, but luck is also chance.
Knowing the reputation of the Canadiens' leaders, from the local team to the top management of the National League, the concept of boss is dominant and also synonymous with decision maker.
In other words, the "boss" is the one who decides, because the "business" belongs to him!
Have a good summer 2021!
