I have just finished reading Albert Camus' book "LA PESTE".
At the end, the plague virus has disappeared except that all the characters are dead and only the narrator and the journalist remain...
Their conclusion is that in the end only love really matters, but unfortunately love is often a feeling that will never become a reality of life, for a thousand and one reasons. These women or these men that we wanted to love but love never came.
In short, in the face of death, only love and its memory count.
An excellent book very topical in 2021!
