I was walking quietly in Old Montreal the day after the violent demonstration of Sunday April 11, 2021 and I hear a "snickering" laugh, which seemed familiar, coming from a group in front of a business on St-Paul street...
I get a little closer and who do I see?
The mayor of Montreal Valérie Plante who visits, or makes visit, the street of the demonstration to the police chief.
We can give her this trait of character: no matter how sad the events are, the mayor keeps her legendary laughter
that we recognize by its unique sound..
As for Old Montreal, it was total calm after the revolt of the previous night.
