That's what's happening right now in the United States. We can also conclude that the marbles in Donald's half are glued together. Donald can't go any lower in the polls because his supporters are untouchable and won't change their minds. On the other hand, Kamala can only go down, and her comeback after Joe Biden's departure wasn't strong enough. She should have risen above 50% and Donald should have fallen below 40%. A 47%-47% tie is a bad sign for a title contender, whether in sports or politics.
Also, the choice of Tim Waltz as running mate of Harris will have done nothing to please a Democratic decision-maker like Barack Obama, who is a close friend and great supporter of Josh Shapiro!
