Mark Zuckerberg, META-FACEBOOK's big boss, has officially admitted that his company caved in 2020 to pressure from Joe Biden's administration by deleting information that would have favored Donald Trump, including the origin of Hunter Biden's famous computer, the story of which had nothing to do with Russia, as the Biden team claimed. 
Political observers consider this statement by Zuckerberg to be an electoral gift to Donald Trump for next November.

I'm not a radio fan, but I made an exception for Mario Dumont's arrival on QUB. (apologies to Taylor Swift....) 
I give the new host high marks and predict he will dominate the space. Unlike Paul Arcand or Patrick Lagacé, who are aggressive on air, Dumont is friendly. It's as if you're inspired to love him... 
It's also clear that, with the Quebecor machine behind the project, other radio stations will have a much smaller presence. 
As far as I'm concerned, tomorrow I'll return to my gym routine with Taylor Swift...

Why not, if it makes me happy? 
The real question, in the end, is this: “Should I stop my admiration for something or someone to make my neighbor happy?” Happiness is a totally personal state of mind, and my neighbors' happiness is their responsibility. That's why I have no intention of stopping admiring Donald Trump!

GOD AND PLANET EARTH -

Elon Musk has an interesting vision of God and says he used science fiction literature to discover it. According to him, to fully understand God, you must look for him in terms of the universe. 
In my opinion, God doesn't belong to any particular religion or church, which are above all,  political organizations whose aim is power over its members. God does not belong to any ideology, and He is not a proponent of either good or evil. To believe otherwise is religious indoctrination... 
Of course, everywhere on planet Earth, as in the political affiliation of countries, many people find meaning and spiritual connection through organized religious traditions. These traditions each define their own vision of God, according to their personal and political orientations. 
But my personal conclusion is that God belongs to no one, and is a universal and unique force.

THE CHICAGO MEETING -

The 2024 US Democratic National Convention is scheduled for August 19-22 in Chicago. 

Kamala Harris will give her speech on Thursday, August 22, while President Joe Biden is scheduled to speak on Monday, August 19. Barack Obama, Bill, and Hillary Clinton will also address the convention. 

Some commentators are concerned about anti-Semitic incidents at the convention, as Kamala Harris appears to be pro-Palestine, while Joe Biden is pro-Israel. Those Israel manifestations could hurt Kamala in her race against Donald Trump.

THE THREE SPIRITS -

I'm often asked about the significance of the three mascots I regularly post on social media. In fact, each dog represents the symbol of three aspects of my life. 

Ulysse represents my passions (politics, technology, sports, the arts, and social life); Gus represents love (my two children, my grandchildren, and my friends); and Argos represents my inner personality (solitary, discreet, competitive, curious and a bit of a rebel...). 

These mascots are symbols and a virtual reflection of the reality of my life. Of course, a symbol is a bit mysterious, and that's the beauty of it...

The Acadians celebrate their national day on August 15. 

The history of these people in 1755 is reminiscent of the history of the Ukrainians in 2024. But whether we're in 1755 or 2024, there's nothing humanitarian or fair about a war. 

Acadia's national day has been held on August 15 every year since 1881.
