THE PATRIOTS IN 2024 -

The Patriot's rebellion of 1837-1838 can be compared to the wars of 2024 between Russia and Ukraine and between Israel and Palestine. In all wars, success depends on the weapons available. The best-armed wins!
This was the case with the Patriots, who were unable to obtain weapons from their American neighbors that were available to the English in London, just as it was with my Acadian ancestors during the deportation of 1755 when the English had weapons and the Acadians only farming tools (pitchforks and wooden rakes)...
In the end, wars are nothing but destruction, but we must recognize that they have always been inescapable, and have been since the beginning of mankind!
