Several years ago, a good friend of mine introduced me to a young woman in her twenties. She was very pretty with a promising career in an exciting field. We dated once or twice, but nothing more.
Today in 2022, the young woman of yesteryear is approaching 50 and has become a life failure.
Why such a journey?
As Shakespeare wrote, "There is a wave on the Ocean of Life, which if caught at the right time at the shore will carry the ship to new lands full of hope and promise, but if missed will then be failure and misery..."
We can conclude that the young woman caught a bad wave.
This is deeply sad!
Fortunately, the friend who introduced me to her is aging wonderfully!
