The favorite aspirant, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, is frightening with his referendum project; Pablo Rodriguez is not bringing the momentum to the Liberal Party that one would have expected; and Éric Duhaime is far too right-wing for Quebecers. In politics, people don't vote for a candidate; they vote against one.
In my opinion, Quebecers will be afraid to vote for the three party leaders vying to replace the current premier, and by default, Legault will be able to keep his seat.
Of course, he will be in a minority and will have buried many of his current entourage deep in the political forest!
François Legault is not good, but the others are no better...
