Personally, I never admire someone for their financial wealth, professional titles, or medals of recognition. I admire someone based on my instinct, and I don't trust anyone to begin with...
Since December 1, three stars have fallen from their podiums: a neighbor of mine who is considered a Quebec genius; a great international actor whom I had the pleasure of knowing; and a journalist whose critical analysis I appreciate.
I once wrote that honors are just anecdotes in life and that the real reality is always something else in the end...
