Many of my friends ask me why I am in favor of Jean Charest's candidacy rather than another?
In fact, there is only one reason and it is nostalgia for the good old days, my time.
Indeed, I was part of Brian Mulroney's team in 1984, along with Jean Charest.
Jean and I were about the same age but we were not close, he coming from Sherbrooke and I from New Brunswick.
If it wasn't for that time, I wouldn't be interested in the Conservative leadership campaign and I would probably be playing in the garden with the spring flowers...
For me, Jean Charest is 1984 in 2022...
