Social media are extraordinary platforms if we use them as a logbook for our ideas but we waste our time if we hope to convince and change the world.
Indeed, it is an illusion to believe that we will make other subscribers change their ideas and make them think like us. I keep repeating that social media is a living room and people gather there according to their ideology and their vision of life. If society is polarized, so is social media. There are fans of a Donald Trump as there are fans of a Guy A. Lepage and Danny Turcotte, and of course there are anti-fans on their respective sites.
In conclusion: have fun with social media but don't take yourself too seriously. It would be a waste of your time!
