Monday, February 8, 2021 will be the day of the reopening of the Quebec merchants closed for the majority since last December 25. The effects of the coronavirus will soon pass the one-year anniversary mark, whereas the first containment was imposed throughout Quebec on March 24, 2020. But in our minds, it's as if it's been 10 years since the world collapsed.
What are the consequences on civilization?
Many businesses simply no longer exist; homeless people have set up their makeshift tents near closed department store buildings and we see that in some office towers, less modern, it is rats and mice that have invaded the spaces ...
We will have to see what happens next, but we can definitely conclude that the world has changed, not to say that we have experienced the end of the world.
According to my faithful Ulysses, we must call upon the Holy Brother André to save us but even he is powerless against the virus and he would have confessed to my faithful companion that he can no longer guarantee any miracle, despite the many prayers...
