We've been hearing a lot over the last few days about the opinion columns and in particular about the departure of Dany Turcotte from Tout le Monde en Parle. Josée Blanchette also addresses the subject of opinion in her column this Friday.
Personally, I like to consider opinion columns, and all sites like Facebook and Twitter, as "salon". And in my book, each salon belongs to its host. A salon is not a tavern... It is not a place for debate but for observation. If we don't like a living room, we don't go back there but it's not up to us to change the decoration and the atmosphere...
