Par Bernard Bujold -
All roses bloom for the first time in spring and early summer, with remontant roses blooming again from late August to late October, or even November. The most remontant roses are also known as continuous-flowering roses, blooming from May until the first frost.
My mother used to grow roses, and in early June she would pick some to make honey according to a family recipe.
My mother loved roses and every time I'm in a rose garden, I think of my childhood...
