THE REAL AND THE FAKE -

Since 1988, photographers have been able to transform their images with the PHOTOSHOP program. Today in 2021, the program has become much more sophisticated than in its early days and it can be said that nothing is impossible with Photoshop. 

For this reason, the old belief that if it's on a photo it's true has become completely false. Now video images have the same easy transformation possibilities as photo images, while artificial intelligence (AI) allows to create programs comparable to Photoshop in terms of efficiency and precision. 

The term "Fake News" now has a real meaning! It promises for the presidential elections of November 5th 2024 in the United States...

There was a time when I had a library of over 3000 books. When I moved in the 2010s, I had kept about less than 500 of them, which I had stored in a warehouse. In 2020, I gave up renting the storage unit, and today I own less than 50 books, the essentials for me. 

That's why, as far as my personal publications are concerned, I prefer to publish on the internet because that way I think I'm touching a little bit of eternity, but even then, I'm not sure. Nothing is really eternal... except the love of reading which is really endless!

LOVE IN 2021

LOVE IN 2021-

I received several comments regarding the wedding of my two friends that I attended over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was spectacular, beautiful and unconventional in terms of atmosphere. 

Personally, however, there are two types of events that I never attend: weddings and funerals. I made a very rare exception for my two friends... 

I don't believe in marriage as a symbol of love, having experienced the failure of divorce, but I do believe in love! The failure of my marriage, in spite of its pain, will however have given life to two children whose value is priceless! 

I have loved dozens of women in my life over the years. I am writing my memoirs and I will have a chapter on love. I have identified seven women that I have loved very much over the years: 

1. The Italian woman; 

2. The daughter of the deputy; 

3. The lawyer; 

4. The banker; 

5. The artist; 

6. The director; 

7. The writer. 

Love cannot be explained. It is a feeling of the spirit, but a wonderful and magical feeling. The problem is to discover it and above all it is essential that the feeling is mutual. The two lovers have then found their soul mate! 

Happy autumn 2021 to all, and long live Love!

TV Series NCIS just aired the biggest episode of the series, answering the question fans have been wondering about all summer: How Mark Harmon going to be out of the program? Gibbs (actor Mark Harmon) end up fishing to Alaska... It is a sad moment for the fans as Gibbs was the lead character of the series for 19 years but as he said: "Follows your gut and rules 91: Never look back"

The faithful Ulysse finally convinced me to bring out my blue suit from the Donald era with my beautiful white shirt. Ulysse thought the cowboy hat was a little too relaxed. 

The wedding of my two friends was a success and my Donald era suit was also a good success. 

The only surprise was that Ulysses came home with a bouquet from the bride... No idea how he got that bouquet! 

Congratulations to the newlyweds and long live fall 2021!

This Thanksgiving long weekend is also, in my case, the wedding of a couple of my friends, one of the most beautiful bachelors in town who met one of the most beautiful girls in Montreal. The temperature on Saturday October 9th is said to be 19 celsius with sunshine. I've already chosen my outfit, my best shirt, and I've taken out my special occasion hat...
