WOMEN'S DAY - 2024 EDITION By Bernard Bujold - Today, March 8, is International Women's Day... For me, the model woman is my mother Anita Cyr (1922-2005), a housewife but also an amateur photographer, the one who inspired my passion for photography. International Women's Day began in 1908 when 15,000 women marched through New York City to demand shorter working hours, better pay, and the right to vote.
