When I was younger, I dreamed of being a lawyer, but I chose journalism and studying law remained a childhood dream.
But the two professions, journalist and lawyer, are similar in that it takes a great sense of objectivity to reach the top.
I have never seen a jurist like Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
Not only is she intelligent, but she has a rare objectivity in her arguments.
I believe she will be a great Justice and the journalistic community would benefit from having people like Amy in her ranks.
Unfortunately, there is only one such person among a thousand!
