CANADA AND THE 2025 ELECTION CAMPAIGN...

Canada's current Prime Minister has called a general election for April 28. A kind of horse race... 
My thing is obviously Donald Trump, and as far as Canadian politicians are concerned, I'm neutral. But I'm an observer of politics in general, and I like to predict the winner of an election. I think that Mark Carney will win, maybe even the majority, because he doesn't make mistakes, and if he does, it doesn't stick to him. Pierre Poilièvre is nervous and reminds me of Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris knew she was losing and became nervous in her strategies like Poilièvre. Carney projects the calm of a winner, like Trump in 2024,... The polls in favor of Carney will also create insecurity for Poilievre and influence voter favorability... Note that it will be a very short race of only 36 days. 

In the end, people never vote with common sense but with emotions. And a candidate never wins an election! One opponent's mistakes make him lose, and de facto, the other wins. 

As Michael Ignatieff wrote, “...an election is like a reality TV show.” Carney seems to understand the concept better than Poilièvre...
