The holiday season is also the season of storage lockers as we all go down to get our Christmas decorations...
Personally, for almost a year now (April 2021), every time I go down to the locker, I pass the locker of a neighbor who died suddenly of a heart attack.
What makes me wonder every time I visit is that none of the items in my neighbor's locker have been moved since his death.
It's almost as if the objects of his life were left behind with no one to continue their life as objects...
I sometimes wonder (existential question) what is sadder: the death of my neighbor or his abandoned objects...
