For those who were looking forward to February 8, it will be necessary to wait beyond that date for the lifting of the lockdown and curfew.
Indeed, in a press conference (Thursday, January 21, 2021) Prime Minister François Legault bypassed the precise question on the subject by at least 5 journalists, but he made it clear to all that the measures should not be expected to end in the near future. For the optimists, we can hope that this is the only month of February that will be eliminated from the 2021 calendar, while for the pessimists, it is better not to expect an unlock before the approach of summer... minimum!
