DONALD TRUMP IS DRIVING THE GARBAGE TRUCK

DONALD TRUMP IS DRIVING THE GARBAGE TRUCK…
By Bernard Bujold -
Joe Biden gives a new direction to the Presidential election of 2024 by calling Trump’s supporters: “garbage”… It is similar to Hillary Clinton‘s comment in 2016 calling the Trump supporters: “deplorable”. Hillary lost the 2016 election because of this kind of insulting comment…

MEMORIES OF A SUNDAY IN NEW YORK ...

MEMORIES OF A SUNDAY IN NEW YORK...
By Bernard Bujold-
Donald Trump ended his campaign for the presidency of the United States with a spectacular and gigantic rally at Madison Square Garden in New York. Here are a few souvenir photos from this Sunday, October 27, Fall 2024 in New York!

MUSIC FOR THE AUTUMN 2024

MUSIC FOR AUTUMN 2024 -
By Bernard Bujold - -
With the arrival of November, it's time to change the music at the gym... especially since I've learned that Willie Nelson is not a Donald fan! To the garbage can Willie's poster...
For the next few months, I've chosen to accompany my visits to the gym with Frank Sinatra!
“Doing it my way...”

DANY TURCOTTE - AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY

THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF DANY TURCOTTE -
By Bernard Bujold -
I have just read the autobiography: D. TURCOTTE & FILS - Dany Turcotte - Mon histoire.
A book without length that sums up a period of life in Quebec from the late 1960s to the present day. Turcotte writes like a journalist. In fact, he could have been an excellent journalist!
I lived through the era he describes because it was my era too. Turcotte's is one of the best of all the biographies of Quebec personalities I've read over the years.

THE BATTLE OF AUTUMN 2024

THE BATTLE OF AUTUMN 2024-
By Bernard Bujold -
The next ten days could be described as: “The Final Battle”.
Indeed, the American presidential campaign is in its final days before the decisive vote on November 5. Observers agree that one of the two candidates must win a majority of 7 key states to prevail, and Donald Trump has been on the rise for the past two weeks.
Personally, I'm convinced that Donald will win by a margin of 300 to 312 electoral votes and be the next resident at the White House in Washington.
To be continued...
Have a great weekend!

A PASSION FOR MCDONALD'S

A PASSION FOR MCDONALD'S-
By Bernard Bujold -
Like Donald Trump, I have a passion for McDonald's restaurants.
In my case, it began in the 1980s when I was the father of two young children. Several years later, I was still frequenting McDonald's sometimes 4 or 5 days a week...
I never worked at McDonald's, but my son did!
In 2024, however, my eating habits have changed and I've become more “broccoli”...
I often dream of a delicious Big Mac, but it's just a sweet memory of the good old days.
Happy autumn!

THE POWER OF LUCK

THE POWER OF LUCK...
By Bernard Bujold -
According to Elon Musk, if you could choose one superpower, luck would be best! "Luck is the most powerful of all superpowers..."
I agree with his philosophy, and I like to repeat Shakespeare's line from Julius Caesar:
“There is a wave on the ocean of human life which if caught at the right moment on shore, will lead the ship to new and promising lands; but if the wave is missed, the whole voyage of life is bound in shallows and miseries..."
