The announcement of the closure of Montreal's METRO media confirms the trend towards a media world made up of just a few very large companies. In the last chapter of my book THE JOURNALIST, I predict that in 30 years' time there will be only one major media outlet for the entire planet, a computer dubbed PLANET 1.
