SANTA'S ELVES AT THE GYM...

Santa's three elves wanted to take advantage of their last days of stay with Ulysses to go and have a few hours of fun at their host's gym... They loved it! 

On Sunday morning, the three elves will go back to the North Pole and, for a second consecutive year, they will have to take the train, because Santa canceled his 2021 tour and will not come to pick up his elves...

The Elves wanted to take advantage of the last Friday night before the sanitary restrictions starting Monday December 20th to walk around Old Montreal. 

If the Christmas spirit was present in the lights, people were already absent and we thought we were in a kind of ghost town or on another planet... 

For his part, Santa confirmed early Saturday morning that he cancels his 2021 tour...

It is the calm on the city at a few days of Christmas 2021 whereas the pandemic settles down again and that a kind of half confinement is imposed on the businesses and the residents. To add to the misfortune, Santa warned his three elves at the end of the afternoon (Thursday December 16) that he will probably cancel for a second consecutive year his world tour of distribution of presents...

LIFE AFTER LIFE -

The holiday season is also the season of storage lockers as we all go down to get our Christmas decorations... 

Personally, for almost a year now (April 2021), every time I go down to the locker, I pass the locker of a neighbor who died suddenly of a heart attack. What makes me wonder every time I visit is that none of the items in my neighbor's locker have been moved since his death. It's almost as if the objects of his life were left behind with no one to continue their life as objects... 

I sometimes wonder (existential question) what is sadder: the death of my neighbor or his abandoned objects...
