I am reading the autobiography «KENT NAGANO - CLASSICAL MUSIC - EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED».
A very interesting book very well writing about music, life and even politics... 
Regarding the political world, according to Nagano, the nationalism of Donald Trump did not began with him as these tendencies always existed, are cyclical and now are all over Europe countries. 
Kent Nagano also comment about the presidency of Barack Obama. « He promised a lot, but- it would appear to me - implemented only little of it. Under his presidency (Obama) American society did not become a blueprint for a process of society renewal, a model for the future. On the contrary, it is paralyzed by division, incomprehension and distrust, disillusionment and resignation. » wrote Nagano. 
The autobiography of Nagano is however a lot about the place of classical music in our society and its role for the humanity. This book will certainly become a classic on the subject of music.

Since July 2018, the paddocks at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve have been undergoing a complete transformation. The old garages were destroyed and replaced by new ones. 
The following pictures were taken on May 7, 2019, one month before the official welcome of the fans at the Formula One 2019 Grand Prix race track. The new garages will be magnificent! Just one question: will they be ready in time for June 7? 
The Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada is on from next June 7 to 9.

The drama in the US politics is more imaginative than would be the best TV Series like NCIS or even the BlackList. 
Since the election of 2016, some US politicians ( the Democrats) are trying to destitute the elected US President (Donald J. Trump) and the media from the left are playing their game. 
But now, the story is changing and the good people are becoming the bad one. 
The next months will bring incredible development in the story of the US politics.

SPRING 2019 - THE NEW NESPRESSO COFFEE ON CRESCENT STREET IS OPEN

The Café Nespresso on Crescent Street is now reopened (Thursday, May 2, 2019). 
Ulysses loves the place...
Personally, I like the new decoration with a bicycle hanging on the wall and made of Nespresso capsules. However, I don't like the new atmosphere as much.... There are no more tables to sit at as before and the host system is copied from Apple's. No more waiting lines but a clerk takes your name on an IPad and we wait for another clerk to come and take our order to take out. 
Finally, there is also the attitude of the lady at the entrance upstair who speaks too loudly, almost screaming, a little like in some European bistros! I love being welcomed discreetly...
