DONALD TRUMP AND HILLARY CLINTON

By Bernard Bujold-
Both candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton,  are tied in the 2016 race for the job of President of United States and all observers and pundits agree that the winner will be decided on next September 26 during the evening of the first television debate. The rating of this first debate could go up to 100 million viewers which will be as big as the moon landing in July 1969. Donald Trump is favored as the winner as the expectations will be lower for him and because he is a "totally" unpredictable debater.

ON THE ST-LAWRENCE RIVER

ON THE RIVER-
By Bernard Bujold - The Port of Montreal received last September 10, 2016 hundreds of Montrealers who were offered a ride on the St. Lawrence River. The aim of the event was to familiarize the guests with the activities of the Port of Montreal. The beauty of the St. Lawrence River is still too often inaccessible.
Thank you to the Port of Montreal for the sea excursion!

In a few days it will already be the time to say goodbye to the summer season 2016...
The summer at the cottage will have been magnificent but still too short.
See you next year ...

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
By Bernard Bujold -
That was 15 years ago...
I was the director of communications for Air France at the Montreal office and we were working on a huge commercial expansion plan for Canada.
I went down for a coffee at the small restaurant at the entrance of the building. There was a TV screen behind the counter and suddenly everyone started to look at it.
At first I thought it was an accident somewhere in the world and that a small plane type Cessna had hit a building...
The reality was different, however, and it was the worst tragedy that America had known since the Second World War. Within a few hours all airports were closed and no one will ever take a plane trip as before.
Needless to say that the expansion plans of Air France worldwide were canceled and I was terminated by the company a few weeks later...

TOUR OF THE MONTREAL BRIDGES -

By Bernard Bujold -
Montreal without bridge would be greatly isolated because it is an island...
I wanted to enjoy the last weeks of the summer season 2016 for a bike tour of Montreal bridges and, in particular, the Champlain Bridge which is currently undergoing construction of its future replacement. I also visited the Victoria bridge, Jacques Cartier and Mercier.
Good late summer!

THE MONTREAL WORLD FILM FESTIVAL 2016- CLOSING CEREMONY

by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1) -
The closing ceremony of the 2016 Montreal World Film Festival was a success and Serge Losique took the opportunity to announce that the 2017 Festival, the 41st edition, will take place from 24 August to 4 September 2017.
The Festival (WFF) in 2016 was presented without any financial means and with the help of last minute of a dozen volunteers. The call for volunteers is however not unique to the FFM and many other events such as the Rogers Cup in tennis have volunteer networks for many years. In conclusion: the official competition WFF 2016 took place; money prizes with a total value of $ 1 million paid by a sponsor were distributed; movie lovers were at the event; and the official certification of INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF FILM PRODUCERS ASSOCIATIONS (FIAPF) is maintained.
We can only congratulate Serge Losique and recognize that he is the undisputed Master of film festivals. Bravo!

EVENING WITH ISABELLE ADJANI AT THE MONTREAL WORLD FILM FESTIVAL 2016

by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1) -
The beautiful actress Isabelle Adjani was the star of the World Film Festival of Montreal in 2004 and she was again in 2016.
I had photographed her in 2004 and Isabelle had then been my inspiration for my passion for the Internet and for LeStudio1.com project in 2005. She published some of my photos of her on her personal website.
I could not miss the 2006 reunion and take the opportunity to go greet her. Isabelle Adjani is still beautiful and radiant. The actress does not age!
"Beauty cannot be not explained, it is there..."

EVENING AT THE MONTREAL WORLD FILM FESTIVAL 2016

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1)-
The World Film Festival Montreal 2016 is well taken off and the Cinema Imperial is full again as in the heyday. The films are varied and excellent from love stories like the Chinese film "LOOKING FOR THE HOLY LAND" to gun dealers stories at the time of the Samurai of Japan. This film "TATARA SAMURAI" highlights a principle to be applied more than ever in our time: "Never get out his gun (samurai) if it is possible to set the war by the word ..." And what about this great movie from Russia about a young journalist "THE END OF A BEAUTIFUL ERA! Anyway, WFF 2016 is in full competition and the fans are there.
We must commend the excellent work of volunteers who will have, ultimately, saved the 2016 edition.
