The least we can conclude is that the champion horse didn't dominate the end of the race, and it was a photo finish...
Mark Carney is the Prime Minister, but without a majority.
At the close of the count, Carney had 169 seats to Pierre Poilièvre's 144, and 22 for the Bloc.
Even more dramatically, Poilièvre was not elected in his riding, and the NDP was almost eliminated with 7 MPs...
In conclusion, I'm not going out without my dark glasses, having projected +200 for Carney. I was wrong!
I should be happy about Mark's victory, but I'm sad to have failed in my projection...
As for the horses, they're back at their stables, including the champion...
