REVIEW OF THE YEAR 2024-

The year 2024 was a great year for me! Happiness is always an individual perception; unfortunately, one person's happiness is often another's misfortune.
As far as my happiness is concerned, Donald Trump's victory was the crowning glory of my year. In fact, throughout 2024, my instinct was constantly telling me that Donald would win the November 5 election, and I take a certain pride in being one of the few to have accurately projected, as early as the end of September, a 312-voter victory for Donald Trump with the seven key states.
Victory is probably the most euphoric of joys, along with love...
My admiration for Donald, however, has nothing to do with his political program, but it's his character that appeals to me. I like people who are rebellious and combative in the face of obstacles. In a way, Donald represents the legendary Western cowboy in the face of life, as does Elon Musk, another character I admire just as much as Donald. At another time in my life and closer to home, Pierre Péladeau (the father) was also a form of Donald Trump in terms of style and fighting spirit, and I had a deep admiration and friendship for him.
If I have one conclusion to draw from my view of the past and the great people I've observed, known, or rubbed shoulders with, it's that you have to be outside the norm to change the world!
