Students are surprisingly powerful in their own right!
They took Jean Charest to the mat for the final count during the "Maple Spring" in May 2012, when Jean was convinced that students with little financial means had no chance of defeating him, and he didn't take them seriously...
In May 2024, students at major universities in the U.S. and Canada are campaigning to take Israel and the Jewish community to the mat. A student campaign that would be very well financed, unlike the students of the Charest era. We'll have to wait and see, but some leaders will certainly be sent packing on behalf of the campaign, including university heads and perhaps even current U.S. President Joe Biden.
It's often thought that student power isn't real power. The contrary has been proven.
We're going to have to send Ulysses' valiant companion, ARGOS, into battle, the only one capable of restoring order and a little peace to planet Earth...
