All media are on the Bill Gates divorce and one reason for the breaking with Melinda seems be the relationship between Bill and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The relationship go back as far as 2013 when Gates was still at Microsoft.
Gates resigned as Microsoft’s CEO in 2000, stepped away from a day-to-day role there in 2008, but served as the company’s chairman until February 2014. and remained on the board until March 13, 2020.
In the days after the split was announced, a holding company that Bill Gates created transferred equity stakes in four different companies, worth more than $2 billion in aggregate, to Melinda French Gates. The bulk of it is from about 14.1 million shares in Canadian National Railway.
