Social media are great tools, but like any tool, you have to recognize its possibilities, weaknesses and dangers. Personally, I consider social media both as my living room and as my diary. The great advantage of the lounge is that you can play a kind of Star Trek captain by eliminating noisy visitors with one click. For example, since the American elections of November 3rd, I have been able to apply the effect: "Transporter Energizes" on a dozen of my too noisy Facebook contacts! Five or six others have been warned that they will be next...
