Montreal press photographer Jacques Nadeau (Le Devoir) has just published another of his photo books. This time, it's a humanist look at old age. 
His book, VÉNÉRABLES, features 80 short reports on very old people in Quebec. The various personalities comment on their past lives and their vision of the present. Some of Nadeau's characters are household names, such as Phyllis Lambert, Armand Vaillancourt, Gilles Archambault, Guy Fournier, Jean Campeau, Stephen Jarislowsky, and Kim Yaroshevskaya (the characters Franfreluche and the grandmother in Passe-Partout), who features on the cover. 
Jacques Nadeau's book calls for reflection on life and the courage to live!

Social media have democratized the world of information, and no social media has a monopoly. Artificial intelligence is a new tool that will continue this democratization. 
Of course, it's a new world that new generations are more comfortable with. It's even said that Donald Trump's son, Barron, is a social media enthusiast and greatly influenced his father's media strategy during the last American presidential campaign.

In the end, Donald Trump didn't win, but it was Kamala who lost. 

Kamala received 16 million fewer popular votes than Joe Biden in 2020, while Donald received the same number of votes as in 2020, 74 million. 

In 2020, Biden won 81 million popular votes and Trump 74 million. 

In 2024, Harris received 68 million votes and Trump 73 million. 

It can't be said that Trump has convinced Democratic voters to join his cause, but he has kept all the Republicans. The Democrats' missing 16 million didn't vote... 

There are 16 million Democrats who didn't want to vote for either Trump or Kamala and stayed home. By not voting, they were voting against Kamala.

I wished for Donald Trump to win the Presidency of the United States, and he will win the election of November 5, 2024, by 312 against 226 for Kamala Harris (Electoral College) according to the New York Times projection! 
Last September I predicted on social media that Trump would win 312 electoral votes... 
So I'm a happy man, and proud of my accurate assessment of Donald Trump's election campaign and popularity. 
I've always admired people who are different from the norm. I was a friend and confidant of Pierre Péladeau, the colorful founder of Quebecor, and before that, I was friends with Brian Mulroney, the former Prime Minister of Canada. Donald Trump's personality is comparable to that of Péladeau and Mulroney, and Melania Trump reminds me of Mila Mulroney, also a friend and an admirable woman. 
If I'd been an American, I would certainly have tried to join Trump's inner circle as I've been an observer and admirer of Donald Trump since 1982. 
For me, politics is a sport and I consider Donald's victory as if my favorite sports team had won the championship. Champion players like Elon Musk, J.D. Vance, Melania Trump, Tucker Carlson, and Sean Hannity are members of the Trump team whom I particularly admire. 
Sincere Congratulations to Donald Trump and his entire team!

As of 1:47 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the summary results of the U.S. presidential election gave Donald Trump the winner with 277 electoral college votes to Kamala Harris's 224. 

Last September, I had projected Donald's victory at between 300 and 312 votes... 

According to The New York Times projections, the final tally could reach 312 votes for Trump and 226 for Harris.

Today, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, is D-Day for Americans and the entire planet! 

The American presidential election is unleashing passions around the world, and the resulting polarization is dividing the planet into two groups, each with an ideology opposed to the other. In a sense, it would take two planets... 

For this reason, we can conclude that the choice of the 47th President of the United States will be a bit like at the casino, decided by chance... 

On Monday afternoon, November 4, betting platforms were reporting that Trump was averaging 60% of bets on his victory and Harris 40%, with over $200 million wagered on the race so far. 

Some observers are predicting a Donald Trump sweep and a total of between 300 and 312 electoral college votes in his favor. To achieve this, all seven key states would have to vote Republican. Media polls, however, show everywhere a complete tie at 48% to 48%. 

According to Elon Musk, the most important and powerful element in life's events is luck... 

Good luck Donald Trump...
