The tragedy at the mosque in Quebec City brings us back to the serious problem of urban violence. Basically, people are violent in the soul! 
Proof: go for a walk in the streets of a city like Montreal, at the central station for example. Pedestrians walk straight ahead and do not slow down in front of them at the risk of being projected firmly to the ground. Try it ... 
In summer, the same evidence exists with the bike rides, in the streets and on the bike paths! 
Violence (and racism) is a new reality of society. 
Donald Trump is not the source of all evils as most media accuse him. He is only a country president. Trudeau, Holland, Merkel and others all have as much influence on political discourse. And Donald Trump was not in politics on September 11, 2001 ... 
Violence and terrorism is not the prerogative of a country and this is the real tragedy. 
Terrorism is like a snow storm or rain that does not want to stop. It is in the air of time and it is at the world level!

Excellent story from La Presse (Daniel Boisvert) concerning the fake news and the very serious error by CNN to have published a news about the existence of an "unverified" investigation file concerning the president-elect of the United States Donald Trump. 
CNN claims that it never published the report "unverified" but rather its existence... 
Conclusion by LA PRESSE, if a file is "unverified" and not proved true, then its existence is not a serious news serious for a serious media! 
My conclusion: The CCN report resembles gossip of the hour and that, the serious media do not! 
Personally, once I watched dozens of media (in French as in English), but today my list is reduced to only a few, and I am very sad ...
