THE LORD OF THE RINGS IN MONTREAL - EXHIBITION -

The Ring / L'Anneau de la Place Ville-Marie in Montreal is now exposed above the promenade and only needs lighting. But already, on Sunday June 19, 2022, hundreds of curious people came to photograph the $5 million sculpture and for many to take a selfie. We can almost predict that the Ring will become a kind of curiosity comparable to the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Statue of Liberty in New York.

F1 racing has invaded Montreal but in two directions. As much as the fans are excited and happy, the critics are virulent and well organized. If there is a contract signed for a presentation until 2031, the event is polarized. People are either for or against, 50% on each side. Opponents want to do everything they can to break the deal.

Ulysses never stays long in the opening ceremonies, especially when the rain threatens in the sky... Wanting to get ahead of the storm on Thursday afternoon (June 16, 2022), he quickly left Place Ville Marie and the Oval still on the ground, but it was a waste of time as he was caught by the storm in the garden of the National Bank... 

Fortunately there was a kind of roof over the stairs but he had to wait almost an hour before the storm stopped! 

But we can say that a storm over the city has something a little romantic, especially if you have a roof over your head...

The Ring at Place Ville Marie was officially inaugurated on Thursday afternoon, June 16, 2022, in front of a hundred or so guests gathered inside the building (because of the rain...) Note that the ring is still on the ground and that it should be hung on Saturday or Sunday, depending on the weather...

The Ring at Place Ville-Marie in Montreal is almost ready to be hung and the workers are doing the final assembly work on the ground. The hanging should be finished for the weekend of the F1 Grand Prix 2022 held on Sunday June 19th. One thing is certain, the pigeons are ready to welcome the $5 million sculpture...
